Hooray!

We got the contract for Breaking The Covenants.

I'm really excited about this. It's my first novel. And it's damned good.

Here's the blurb for it.

__________

The German vampire Gunther von Wittersheim has a problem: he’s fallen in love with the English Lady Marguerite Giffard and his greatest immortal enemy knows about it. Alphonse de Brunel is also a vampire, and ruthless enough to use the human girl as a weapon against his foe. When de Brunel captures Marguerite and turns her into a vampire against her will, Gunther swears to destroy him.

But vampires are bound by the Covenants, a code of law enforced by the mysterious and most powerful of the vampire Elders. If Gunther kills de Brunel, the Conclave will destroy him. Marguerite must find a way to keep Gunther’s thirst for revenge from leading him to his death. When they pursue de Brunel to St. Petersburg, they find themselves caught up in a revolution that pits vampire against vampire. Can they find a way to capture de Brunel and return him to the Conclave before the violence in Russia sweeps them up? Or will they, too, fall prey to the breaking of the Covenants?

It's been a real slice working with my co-author, Celina Summers.

Report on a play party

I was at another play party on the weekend. It was interesting.

Unlike the other times I made more of an effort to interact with people. I spoke with a couple of quite delicious bottoms. One was done up as a 'naughty secretary' although I mis-indentified her as a 'naughty librarian' at first due to a particular fetish of mine.

I also talked with a rather nice couple about various things including the life.

The high point of the party, from a comedy point of view, was a couple of posers that showed up. The 'top' dressed like he was Anton LeVay or Darth Vader. His only equipment was a sad excuse for a single tail. *rolls eyes*

The low point was a bottom having a seizure of some sort.

About that time I ran out of courage and headed for home.

Over all it was a good night.

Happy New Year

Here's wishing all my friends the very best in the New Year.

Despite what I've said earlier and elsewhere I do have a resolution for this year. To whit, I'm going to try and get my faith back
